"Two buds improving the Outer Banks one detail at a time" took time out during "pollen season" just before Spring Break to visit First Flight High School and improve life for the Nighthawks, presenting teachers Joe Tyson and James Ainslie with a check for $100 to support the the students in the Exceptional Children program.
Clayton Hall and Ryan McCarron, the "two buds" behind Two Buds & Suds, partnered with FFHS to bring their mobile car-detailing business to the school. For every car detailed on campus during third quarter, Two Buds & Suds made a contribution to the EC programs. The partnership is continuing during fourth quarter, with a different school group being supported.
"Both programs work together throughout the year to help provide an excellent educational opportunity for exceptional children in Dare County," Tyson said of the programs he and Ainslie lead. "The money will be used to help fund community service project field trips that the two classrooms do each year."
Hall and McCarron also participate in Dare County Schools' BOSS (discount) program for teachers. You can reach them to set up an appointment or learn more about their business at their Facebook page or by visiting http://www.twobudsandsuds.com/.
