Friends of Rachel clothing drive
Members of the First Flight High School FFHS Friends of Rachel Club created boxes for warm clothing for a community-wide drive, collecting warm clothes and shoes for adults and children living in Hatteras who were affected by Hurricane Matthew. The boxes will be in the school's rotunda.

"Our FOR Club is also lucky enough to have community support with Brooke Knight and Susan Picataggi of Dare County Department of Social Services and Jessica Brown of the Dare County Department of Public Health and its Peer Power program," said school counselor Lisa Wheless, adviser of the FOR Club. "Our drive will last through November, and we have a GoFundMe account for people who would like to contribute. The money will be used to buy more clothing."
