Due to anticipated inclement weather, all Dare County Schools will dismiss early today, March 5. Schools will follow their Early Dismissal schedule, and all after-school activities, games, and After-School Enrichment Programs (ASEP) are canceled.

A strong cold front is expected to move through our area this afternoon, bringing severe thunderstorms, strong wind gusts, and coastal flooding, which could create hazardous travel conditions.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff. If you have any questions regarding transportation, please contact your child’s school. Stay safe!
