As we approach the end of the semester, we want to share our Fall 2025 testing plan with you to ensure a smooth and successful testing experience for all of our students.

Testing Schedule

• Monday, December 15, 2025 - 1st Block Exams

• Tuesday, December 16, 2025 -, 2nd Block Exams

  • Mr. Formella's 4th block Biology class will also test on this day.

• Wednesday, December 17, 2025 -a 3rd Block Exams

• Thursday, December 18, 2025 -y 4th Block Exams

• Friday, December 19, 2025 - EOC Retests (8:30 a.m.)

Testing Details

• Students will test by period and should be in their assigned classroom no later than 8:15 a.m.

• Testing will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.

• Students may not leave the building until testing is complete, which will be around noon.
  Lunch will be provided starting at 11:45 a.m.

• Students must bring a fully charged Chromebook to each testing session.

• No cell phones or smart watches will be allowed during testing. Phones and smart watches must be turned off and kept in bookbags for the duration of the session.

Parent Reminders
Parents, please make sure your scholar gets a good night's sleep before each exam and has a healthy breakfast the morning of testing. Research shows that students who get 8-10 hours of sleep and eat a balanced breakfast can improve test performance by up to 25% in focus and memory retention.

Early Dismissal Procedure
Students who wish to leave after lunch must provide a written note from a parent or guardian. Notes should be turned in before leaving to Mr. Tyson or Coach Williams, who will be stationed at the door collecting them.

Afternoon Schedule
The afternoon will be used for remediation and extra review sessions led by teachers. Buses will run at their normal dismissal time.

EOC Retake Opportunity
Students who are not proficient on their End-of-Course (EOC) exams will have the opportunity to retake their exam on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. Please note: Students must complete a minimum of 3 hours of remediation before they are eligible to retest.

This retake will now count toward overall grade, proficiency, and growth, an improvement from previous years when it only affected proficiency. Remember, final exam grades constitute 20% of your student's final grade.

Parents of students taking an EOC this fall must complete the OPT-IN form in Infinite Campus to ensure their student has the opportunity to participate in the retake if needed. English II EOC retakes will be held in January.
